Paragon is a sports/entertainment management firm that provides career
management for top athletes and talent. Paragon also develops and finances
original content for its clients. The firm currently represents a solid roster
of blue chip sports clients consisting of approximately 27 top tier NFL
players, several leading prospects for the 2008 NFL draft as well as emerging
NFL stars. Paragon's management team has negotiated $500 million in client
contracts over the past eight years,, including 2007's $39 million extension deal for Mike Patterson of the Philadelphia Eagles and a $16 million extension for Matt Wilhelm of the San
Diego Chargers.
The new agency’s plans for the near future include representing players from Major League
Baseball, the National Basketball Association and coaches, as well as
establishing a marketing division. Paragon’s business model also includes building a practice in talent management, with a
core clientele of actors, writers, directors, producers and musicians.
